Apple is eagerly squashing bugs today. They’ve released updates to every OS they make—even watchOS for you devotees. But it’s nothing to get excited about, really, unless you just love clean code.
- iOS 9.3.3 is now available, along with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, tvOS 9.2.2, and even watchOS 2.2.2. The updates don’t really bring any new features and just address various bugs on all the platforms. New features will arrive in the fall, though, when iOS 10 and macOS are scheduled to drop. - In other news, Imgur has overhauled their image uploader with a new streamlined workflow, available to all users today. It takes just two steps to upload an image, making your meme sharing as frictionless as possible. Imgur describes the update as the biggest change to the site since 2012. [Imgur]
- Plex is now available as a native Windows 10 app. But I’ve been using Plex on Windows for years, you might say. Yes, but this version of Plex was created on Microsoft’s Universal Windows Platform, meaning that the same app will run on all Windows 10 devices and supports Cortana. [Plex]
- Opera is selling its browser business to a group of Chinese companies for $600 million. The takeover comes after a previous $1.2 billion deal for the entirety of Opera fell through, due to failure to get regulatory approval in time. Instead, Opera will retain its other advertising and game-related businesses. [Reuters via Android Police]
- The Xbox One S will be available on August 2 for $399 with a 2TB drive. Cheaper versions with smaller drives will be available at a later date. [Kotaku]
