Chipotle’s portions are pretty generous for the most part, and that includes the items on the somewhat-hidden kids menu. For less than $5 you can get a meal that will satisfy most adults.

The Chipotle kids menu, while not quite a “secret menu,” isn’t displayed on Chipotle’s simple menu boards so a lot of people don’t realize it exists. If you’re looking for a cheap, filling meal, Hayley Peterson at Business Insider recommends you go for the kids’ “build-your-own” taco plate or kids’ quesadilla. You’ll get two tacos or a quesadilla (with two fillings), some chips or fruit, and a fountain drink for somewhere between $3.75 and $4.75. Ordering the same exact thing on the normal menu costs closer to $8, and the average order at Chipotle hovers around $12, so it’s some pretty decent savings. This is especially true if you can’t normally finish their massive burritos and bowls, or just looking for a smaller meal to tide you over.

If you’re worried the staff won’t let you order from the kid’s menu, just ask for it to-go. They’re not going to deny your order if it looks like you’re ordering food for a kid. Or better yet, place your kids menu order online and just pick it up at the register.
