26-year old Francia Ruth Ibarra was reported lost on December 3rd from her Leon flat. Her remains were later located in the residence of Emmanuel Delani Valdez Bocangegra, a guy she was dating after meeting him on Tinder. The discovery of her body was supported by local Attorney General, Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre.
Bocangegra and Ibarra had met up several times over the months after “fitting” on Tinder in late autumn, but Ibarra was seemingly quite quiet regarding the fling. Really, many of her close friends just found out about the relationship between the two from social media after her disappearance.
Her buddies really were the first to sound the alarm about after Ibarra didn’t appear to a film as planned. It was afterward that they dug into her social networking reports and found her link with Bocangegra. About a week afterwards, on December 10th, police got a search warrant to look through his house. It was then that it became clear that Ibarra wouldn’t be coming back from her last date:
Clothing as well as a bag much like the one Ruth wore on the day of her disappearance were located in the flat.
On the roof were several black plastic bags containing human bones. There were also totes with caustic soda and muriatic acid where the girl’s body was dissolved. (Source)
Seemingly a confrontation broke out between the two after Bocangegra proposed that they’ve sex. Ibarra refused, and that’s when Bocangegra killed her. Then he attempted to conceal the evidence of his offenses by dissolving her body in a bag of acid — which seemingly belonged to his dad, who was a chemical engineer. !
Bocangegra was detained in Mexico City where, when confronted with the charges, is believed to have been “indifferent” regarding the offense.
