1. You learn the value of freedom. You don’t want a guy to save you or anyone to take good care of you, you learn by example that you’re capable of living a full and joyful life and never needing to share it with somebody else. You learn that you could construct a house, raise children, cook, and do the dishes all while having a profitable profession. You pretty much find out the best way to be super woman.

2. You learn the significance of unconditional love. You found your mother give her time, well-being and youth for you as well as your sibs, yet she never whined or gloated about how much she’s suffering or how much she’s doing. She always had a grin on her face and was happily giving increasingly more of herself. She instructed you what selfless and unconditional love resembles, and you also understand that you won’t have the ability to locate that love elsewhere.

3. You find out how to adore yourself. You find out the best way to walk away from the matters which aren’t meant for you, you find out the best way to keep going even when the entire world is against you, and you find out the best way to believe in yourself when everybody is questioning you. You learn that poor levels, heart breaks and failures don’t define you; what defines you is how you bounce back from every one of the drawbacks and how hard you fight for the life you would like. !

4. You learn that you simply can be both powerful and soft. Powerful moms are generally quite sensitive they only hide it better, but you saw your mother quietly weep over your pain, or stay up all night taking care of you when you were ill, or the nighttime she couldn’t sleep because something was troubling you. The way she embraces you when you’re down reveals unmatched empathy and affection and at times in a quiet corner you saw her shed several tears.

5. You learn that it’s not easy being a girl. You learn your view will soon be blown off, that you are going to be taken lightly when you’re being serious, however you will also learn you could stick out in a bunch and push everyone to listen to your voice and also accept your thoughts. You learn that what doesn’t kill you makes you more powerful. !

6. You learn never to look back. You learn to let all the “what ifs” and “could have beens” go. You learn not to look back and wonder why life turned upside down. You only continue looking ahead and allow the past redeem itself. You learn that everything that occurred got you to where you go even if it’s nothing you ever wished for. !

7. You learn the value of patience and religion. You learn that God is searching for you as well as your battles, that everything will be OK in the end. Thunderstorms will pass and tomorrow is a fresh day. You learn to be patient with life, patient with time, patient with success and patient with difficulties. You learn that patience is strength.

8. You learn how to create your own well-being. You can find well-being in a difficult life. You can nevertheless be happy even if you’re taking the weight of the planet on your own shoulders. My mother taught me that I can always uncover something to grin about all I must do is look closer.

9. You learn that she still knows more about love than you do. Even when you’re generations apart, even in case you are not caring of her love picks, if she doesn’t approve of someone you better listen to her. She understands what she’s saying; also, she doesn’t wish to see you get heartbroken. As much as I loathe to acknowledge it, she got it right each time.

10. You find out the way to be a great mom. You’ve been lifted by a mother who showed you the way to really take care of a family, who showed you that hard work pays off, who showed you you could love someone unconditionally. She showed you how to be protective, loving, kind, compassionate, powerful and resistant. She was leading by example, and whether you are aware of it or not believe it, you’re following in her footsteps one measure at a time. ! TC mark
