I am a 35 year old writer and poet, currently under the tutelage of an experienced mahayogi. I am looking to brush up my new skills in healing and energy transmission. Anyone, I mean anyone - who would be interested in free to contact for FREE!!!!! No fees whatsoever, only your good wishes in return if you benefit. Let us say it is fake, even if it is, what have you to lose?? 5 minutes of your time perhaps?? Ask yourself the simple question first, "Why should healing invoke the chants and images of a particular religion imposing itself onto other religions? Why cannot there be a universal method of healing where the principles will hold good even if you have unflinching faith in Christ, Ram, Allah or Judas!! This is one such genre of healing, unseen before!!

I'm a little non-pulsed by your use of the phrase "no nonsense" in the poll. Therefore, I voted no. I think that if God, or any higher supernatural power does exist, that God has a sense of humor. No nonsense implies a by the book dogmatic or fundamentalist form of spirituality that I personally reject. It implies "This is the way things are, and the only way you can do them! The world is black and white, and my religion is the best!" Yes, I do reject that idea.

I do, however, think people use different religions and different spiritual paths, whether they be Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Shintoism, Daoism, Buddhism, yoga, etc., etc., as a way of focusing their own minds and hearts, or they choose a particular religion either because they grew up with it or because it resonates with them on a personal level. That is, if I am Christian, it really doesn't bother if someone else is a Hindu, as long as that person has chosen the path that is best for them.

As to the type of chants you might hear in certain yoga classes or in some churches and temples, I think they can be quite valuable if they focus someone's mind, heart, soul, or intention, or if they put at least some people in a meditative state. So I'm also not really anti-chanting or anti-religion.

Having said all that, you've got me curious. I live somewhere in the American Midwest. If you want to send me a free distance healing, I will gladly accept. You can send it to me by my screen name, John Gremlin. If you send it with a good intention, I will receive it. I would look forward to that.

Sorry if the term "no nonsense" implied that other forms of healing are not upto the mark - it was not intended to mean that. The main point being asserted was that no healing form should invoke one particular religion or it's motifs. This tends to make the peoples of other religions wary of it. To quote an example, many non-Hindus have often expressed their unwillingness to chant "OM" or other mantras as they find it too compartmentalized and they view it as forsaking their own religion for another - if you know what I mean.

i am very interested and yes as PH mentioned it would be great if you could elaborate a bit more on the method you are going to use. while i agree that healing should be universal, certain practices might actually be not-as-desirable to people holding some beliefs (on the contrary there are of course some practices that actually work better with the help of certain beliefs).

This system is based on belief in Goa, although it can be ANY God. During a session, you have to do it with total devotion to your own God. It is not as if there are some occult or voodoo practices involved - just energy involved - Nothing offensive. So no one can really claim that it clashes with the ideals or religion. Let us not even call it healing, just energy transfer.
Also, do note that I am NOT an expert, quite an amateur but learning!!

Also, please note that the actual proponent of this system is a Romanian mahayogi who happens to be my friend. He has devised this system after 25 years of meditation, he began at 20. He will soon begin spreading it in a professional manner. Few things that I would like to make clear are - neither he nor me are saints of any sort. In my own case, I am a flawed individual. This does not mean one cannot heal. Every healer is basically a flawed individual with many faults but who might just have some certain skill in channelizing energy as it should be, in the proper direction. I considered this healing thing hogwash until I met him!! Just in case I am not as adept at transmitting as he is, I would then have to put the person in contact with him. I believe in being clear about things at the very inception.

From what I see in this world one man's "nonsense" is another man's "this makes total sense" so I try not denigrate other people's beliefs anymore and just focus on what works for me.
