So I am after a simple frequency generator which would lower brainwaves. Anyone know where I can get one of these please?

go to gocs1.com, and download Cybershaman free. Then go into the cyber shaman program files folder. there is a sub folder called sounds, open it because inside the folder is a free full version of nch toner.

I like this http://www.iso-tones.com/index.php/tones. It's been recently referred to me, it's free and it works. Simple operation. No bells and whistles but the effects are good

ty for your replies but I was not after binarual or Isochronic tones I am talking about a brainwave generator for the mind ya know something that fits on your head with small cycles going through it to change brainwaves?
like the one at paradetect. com entitled Frequency Generator (Psychotron)
but are out of stock.

The Sota Bio-Tuner works well for that but a lot more $.

I love that tuner. Mine is the BT7 Pro. Often I'd run it for three sessions at the continuous pulse. Any stress is killed right away. I avoid the 7.83Hz freq though. It makes me throw up.

At wellnesstools.com and toolsforwellness.com you can find many more of this sort of device. Don't bother with L-S goggles... they're so inconvenient and dated

Does that thing really work? I have the same question, and what's is more, when it starts running do you really feel an effect?

Cranial Electro Stimulation does help but you have to use it consistently to see results. I have a BT7 and it takes the edge of anxiety/depression. Has a calming effect.
