Anyone experience with ZOX pro speed reading system?

I don't like those methods where you have to limit your eye movements (saccades) and try and see more words at the same time by using your peripheral vision...

However, mental photography sounds cool as opposed to reading consciously, like sub-vocalising every word like we were taught to do.

The wierd thing is, I have heard that you do not even need to be able to see all the words. That is really wierd. Like your eye can only see some of the page, not all of it, at a glance. So what is going on here? How can you memorise something you have not directly looked at?
