I am very interested in expanding this unit to be able to handle 10-12 people at one time.

The only tool I've seen to do this is the Photosonix Expander, which is outrageously overpriced at $449: http://photosonix.com/expander.htm

I decided to try these Behringer headphone amps instead:

and they work fine for the sound... but when I attempt to run the LIGHT output through the amp I get nothing with the glasses.

Any ideas on how to fix this and save some money?

You have an @pple cell phone or @pple tablet? Sell the Nova. The apps on the @pple can create very good mind altering effects at $5. Saves you the $400 the nova promises go do . In particular download the AmbiSci app, zen master bundle
