I thought I'd share my recent, happy experience with dream programming with interested readers, which I find simple to do. I decided to start a new thread since I haven't come across this yet in XM.
Over a week ago, I received a newsletter issue via email which contained an article on dream programming for money-making. As much as I'd want to, I cannot post a direct link yet, so please type:
Even if I already had some good results using the Silva Dream Control technique which I read from a book years ago, I was impartial to the technique in the article which I find simple to do. I did not believe in it yet, so I tested this.
I repeated the short command silently for several times at night before I slept. After 6 nights and having various dreams, an elderly relative came over to our house and asked me that I accompany her to the city hall since she received news that financial assistance for senior citizens would be released by our local government unit in an Asian city that day, December 23. I was free that afternoon and so I accompanied her to the local city hall and helped her claim her benefit. I only wanted to help her out of pity, but after receiving her cash benefit, she treated me to a decent meal and gave me 500 bucks.
The following day, which is today, December 24, I received another cash gift, amounting to several hundred bucks sent by my aunt who's in New York.
Although I have a monthly income, these two windfalls were totally unexpected and I'll continue using this technique to see what further results it will bring.
It's really all about affirmations from what I can tell from your experience. Affirmations really do work best when going to sleep and first waking up.

I'd like to add that apart from the simplicity of the technique, meaning, you only have to repeat your intent silently for a number of times prior to sleep, there is no visualization needed which makes it easy and convenient.
The wording/phrasing of the short command or affirmation, in your own words, also remains unchanged as you repeat this activity for successive nights. There is no need to come up with different phrases each night.
I'd just like to point out the advantages in doing this technique. I found the article interesting and it really encouraged me to try it.
skyhigh,
Did you use the phrase, "Please give me a precognitive dream.... etc" as in the article or did you use a more direct command like "I intend for large sum's of money to come to me... etc"?
I'm curious as to the words you used, since the first phrase is more of a request and the second is more of a command.
Thanks so much for posting your story!!

Yes, PH, I used the exact phrase used by the article's author "Please give me a precognitive..." Please excuse my use of the word "command", instead of "request" which it really is just like when I use MBOs.
As an added tip, I think it helps if one can go quickly to alpha or theta level using whatever method before falling asleep, although it is not necessary based on the article. I use the 5-1 Silva method of going to alpha since I have been using it in doing dream control years ago. The author says that as he drifts to sleep he mentally repeats the phrase over and over...Some nights I only repeat the phrase 4-5 times as I'm already in Alpha level making the technique easier to do and efficient.
Also, PH, if you have not read this yet, in the Mind Power News article there is a link beside the author's name Skeptical Examiner which I clicked on and found more information through another article about the originator of this intuitive technique, a guy named Andy, how he discovered and developed the technique which he used in sports betting first before using it in Vegas to his benefit.
Hope you find this technique useful as it did to me. I'm also trying to find time to test another technique using subjective communication to bring luck cycles to one's life and again, I will post the results and indirect link once I've tried it for a number of times.
Those are amazing results, skyhigh. Thank you so much for posting it!
Interestingly, I watched the $5k per day subliminal video last night (the Intelligent Warrior one), so coming across this post today may be a positive sign.
It's good to know that you did this for 6 days because earlier on, I was too impatient with repeating affirmations for 3 days and expecting something to happen. This time I'll put more time into testing it out, and exploring how to incubate dreams.
Also I just had an idea...this affirmation can be repeated using a software that flashes subliminal messages on your computer screen. Maybe it'll even speed things up.

Yes, vivian, like I said, I did not believe in it at first, but I just gave it a try for six consecutive nights without thinking about it during the day. Maybe that is the key. When I did the Silva Dream Control years ago for another job, after just a night or two, the HRD officer of a huge company in which I just sent my application online called me up if I was interested in a job position and she called ahead of schedule for screening qualified applicants. When she called up I was doing other tasks in the house. The second time this occurred to me a couple of months later after doing it for two successive nights, another company HRD officer for a different company called me up inquiring if I was still interested for a job. At that time I was having an afternoon drinking binge with a friend who came over to visit me bringing gin and some food and we were talking of other matters.
I also read from researcher Jim Francis and other sources online that people doing dream programming can expect results in about a week but for others it may take over a month or so. Also, I have read from a Silva Method book given to me years ago that the more you use alpha in your waking hours, the more it works for you without programming as you sleep and/or dream.
Should you decide, then just give it a shot for a number of nights and forget about your programming during the day, just focus on other things. Hope this advice will be of help to you and good luck.

Yes, PH, right on target. Thanks for posting the direct link for others to access easily. It's really frustrating, inconvenient and quite onerous that XM members not having 30 posts cannot post direct links for others to access, although, I'm nearing the 30 posts mark.
I find the second article also interesting and it implied that correct dream interpretation, which is different for everyone, is vital if one is to benefit from his/her dreams. The author benefited through his fleeting dream of slots in the first article. I'm glad that although I keep a daily dream dream journal since I used Silva Dream Control years ago, I did not have to interpret my dreams since the right people who gave me money contacted me in person and through bank. Andy, the originator, also stressed that one has to develop his own metaphors and symbolism in using dream techniques to his/her advantage.
Hope you find something of value in this article too, PH.

PH, there are also related articles to dreams, including intuition also written by the same journalist Randall Fitzgerald which may provide a lot of information to readers.
If you don't mind, I'll just refer those interested to your link which was posted earlier in this thread:
Please click on the link provided by PH and then at the top of the article below the author's photo, please click 'View all of randall's articles'
I read through all of the relevant articles by Randall yesterday. Very interesting stuff on intuition! Randall also said Andy recommended reading Living Your Dreams by Gayle Delaney, so I looked her up and watched some of the videos (unfortunately there aren't many online).
I think where I'm confused is how to interpret my dreams. Gayle teaches dream interviewing where you ask yourself questions like "Who is the aggressor here? What do I feel? What does it remind me of in my life?" When I tried to interpret some of my dreams, I was drawing blanks (maybe I'm not as self-aware as I thought I was).
Skyhigh, you said you had various dreams after repeating your affirmation. Was any of the content related to the eventual manifestation of receiving the cash gifts?
I recorded 3 dreams last night, but all of them made no sense to me. I'm not sure if I should be clued into what it means, else I might miss something important.

It's good to see you're recording your dreams!... that's such a wonderful way to learn more about yourself. One tip I ran across that seem's to help when you have a dream and you can't make heads or tails about what going on, is to sum up the dream with one word. Write that word down in your dream journal and do the same to your other dreams. Keep doing this with all your dreams after you record the details. You'll notice patterns emerging eventually... and those patterns can be very telling!

I think you're on the right path, the first step, recording your dreams is what I do daily since I did the Silva Dream Control years ago. Again, I was skeptical of this method, but the results I garnered from using this seemingly simple technique which I read from the book Silva Method for Business Managers which was given to me were stunning and powerful. I found it hard to believe, but it worked! Sometimes the results can come the following day after just one night of programming as I posted earlier on this thread regarding my job applications. However, that's another topic.
In my experience and information I read from various sources, your dreams can either be direct insight, which I prefer, since this does not require interpretation and is specific and the the common symbolic dreams which occur more often, since your subconscious mind communicates messages to you using symbols, metaphors. Personally, I use the book Dreamer's Dictionary and it is very effective in interpreting dream symbols for me, an associate of mine and a relative. It means that the symbolic interpretation is compatible with our subconscious patterns. I routinely expect things to happen in my life based on those interpretations. Another friend of mine bought the book but the interpretation did not apply to his dreams. It is not easy since everyone is different and you cannot pinpoint a specific aspect of your life since they are just symbols. You are your own best interpreter, but I urge you to continue recording your dreams and there are many dream dictionaries but I cannot recommend one since you have to check them out for yourself. All I can assure you is that you will reap great benefits once you start interpreting them accurately, it does not have to be even 100% because some dreams are psychological in nature also. Some may just be insignificant, due to your phobias, overeating and so on.

Yes, the contents were relevant to the eventual manifestation of my benefits. Some of the dream symbols during the 6 nights I used the technique were a young beauty I was with, a fine bed, riding a bus and being on guard in our ex-house. Based on the book The Dreamer's Dictionary by Lady Stearn Robinson and Tom Corbett, all of them symbolized business success and/or a rise in income. All you can do is just generalize what will happen in your life, no specifics, but expect them to happen. That is routine for me now after years of benefiting from recording my dreams.
For now, your dreams may be useless but as I said you're on the right track. It's good you seem persistent, determined on this matter and if you're really interested, I can provide you with Laura Silva's free dream programming seminar link. It is still dream control, the same I read from her father Jose Silva's book, but the technique is now modified compared to what I used to solve my problems years ago. It is full of valuable information and it may help you a lot. Feel free to ask.
