Traditional visualization is only using your visual sense. The newer and perhaps better form of visualization incorporates as many different senses as possible.
If you want to just improve your visual abilities then a very simple yet effective technique is to stare at an object for a little while, then close your eyes and try to reproduce it visually in your imagination. Then open up your eyes and stare at the object again, and do the same thing again. YOu'll be doing this over and over. After a little while you can speed up how quickly you do this. You can glance at the object for a second then close your eyes for a second and reproduce this in your imagination. Since this is a skill you will get better at this process. Some people claim that this process really turbo-charges your visualization skills.
As far as a good hypnosis track, you could google steven g. jones's hypnosis site. He's got tons of stuff and different hypnosis inductions. Everything from stopping smoking to developing charisma. I've never bought any of his products, but he is relatively known.
I've thought about buying some of his stuff in the past, but never got around to it.
Good luck |
