I've been using binaurals to get into Theta state. I found that the Equisync series works on me, while some others do not, I guess some things just click while others don't.

I think I am close to Theta state, I reach the point where I feel as if there is another body which is slightly moving, I also get the sensation of "sinking".

Where should I go from there? I mean, it's as far as I can reach. Should I try to keep my mind working, or focus on one single thing, or perhaps focus on nothing at all?
During this, I still get sensations from my body (say, my nose itching), which most likely means I am not in theta after all.

Any tips to move forward?

Thank you

What is your purpose of getting to theta?

Then you are probably "down" far enough, however if you are still taking note of an itchy nose for example, you are not "asleep" enough. It sounds as if you are trying for mind-awake/body asleep. If this is so, then your body needs to be more asleep. Likewise your mind needs to be even less aware of your body-state. If negative stimulation continues to occur, your subC may be trying to tell you that there are other issues that need to be resolved before liftoff can occur.

I appreciate the input but can you be more specific on what these issues might be?

Should I try and press my mind to be occupied to keep it awake, or should I just relax it and let it drift?

One specific issue that seems to keep popping up is the notion that leaving your body is the prelude to physical death. Even though you are consciously "sure" you want to do this, subconsciously you are sure that doing so will result in death. Hence your SubC sends signal to your body to abort the process, just as it seems it will happen. That your SubC knows that it isn't true since allows it to happen every time you fall asleep raises some questions about which part of you is controlling the experience.

I think pressing your mind to do anything is counter-productive. Next time you go down, don't do anything in particular. Just enjoy being down.
