Hey everyone,
i'm interested in meditation and magick, but i have trouble getting in the right state.
So i searched the internet and found this website & the brainwave generator.

If i'm correctly informed the wanted resonance( for example 7,8 Hz) is created by the difference between the 2 stereo signals.

Now here are my problems Confused

-the hearing ability of my right ear is is decreased after an illness
-i have a tinitus since then (pretty loud, about 35Db),in the right ear

First of all, this is a distraction for me, and i wonder if i can use the brainwave generator to get into the states i want.
I hadn't any results yet, and my tinitus gets louder when i use it.

Can the bwg have an effect, if one ear has a very limitet range of frequencies?(i can't hear sounds with a high frequency on the right ear, the other frequencies are ok.I can for example listen to people who talk with me with my right ear, because the human voice is mostly in the right range for my right ears hearing capacity)

You could try photonic stimulation instead. Machines like the Nova Pro(...ooops that could be ancient technology so guys if you know what its successors are please volunteer the info) will bring you into the Schumann Resonance state even faster than binaural beats. If you're interested, I have a file here called PCM-Mind which gives you plans how to construct an light and sound device (goggles + headphones), plus the software to drive it.

I think i won't need that, but thanks anyway Jobet.

I used brainwave generator again today, and i discovered that i can listen to some of the frequencies without irritation. I'll keep on trieing.

Ah, and since you're here, i just what to ask a short question about the technique that is mentioned in one article on getting into theta fast.(the technique with the fork and the ice-block that cools your brain):
Isn't it dangerous to decrease the blood flow to certain regoins of the brain?
To be honest, i'm a little bit scared to even try this technique, because it doesn't seem like a good idea to do that to your brain.
Can there be any sideeffects?

It looks interesting, I was thinking about a similar thing myself. It seems though that lighting a LED right into the eye is a bit too harsh, a good filter is needed, in my opinion.

Perhaps I'll try this out.
