I recieved my RadX-GTR2 today and have some questions on the use. It came with an adapter that isn't compatable with where I live. I live in New York. So I bought a 9v 300mA adapter. it said to get one with power between 7.5v and 9v. How long should I have it plugged in at a time? I read that an operation shouldn't take more than 20 minute, after that unplug it and leave your trend on the plate and it'll continue to be powered. Am I misunderstanding? Also, it came with the power doubler and transfer disc. Does it need to be plugged in to transfer any type of power? Do I just basically set the power doubler on the plate and set the trend on that?

I had the same issue with my ImagineGTR a few months back. The first adapter from radioshack had a 300ma output but the second adjustable-voltage adapter i found at bestbuy had a 500ma output which made a big difference in the perceived energy output of the device -in a good way.

Just make sure its a Regulated power supply, they are more stable

Use a good, regulated power supply and all will be fine. I have left mine running trends for weeks at a time before, and typically have mine on even when not running anything on it.
