Having had great success with the original Perkl-light I am thinking of upgrading to the new Alpha model. Can anyone say if they have felt an increase in energy from this model?

I don't have an alpha, but I'd be interested to hear a review too.
I don't want to say departure, but the alpha seems quite different from the
original.

I have one of those and to me it seems to work with a gentle but firm energy
pushing or leading in a certain direction.
Not sure how to describe it.
I think it's helped with things - like on bacteria setting, etc.

I could probably be more tuned in on the manual settings - I tend to use the
pre-settings more often.

Any recent experiences runedog with the perkl, or memorable succeses?
