I notice a lot of the frequencies are really low. HEadphones that have a frequency response of say 10 Hz + won't be able to output the many low sound waves in the programs? Do I have a misconception of how this works? Thanks.
you missed out on that :p you dont have to have such a low frequency headphone since binaural beats arent playing the actual tone but two different tones let say 50hz and 70 in the other ear, then there is 10 inbetween them so your brain vibrates with 10 hz, for a far better explanation chek here: http://www.bwgen.com/theory.htm _________________ Good vibrations.

Timmaniac was right about the beat being a difference between the two auditory inputs, but, there are some binaural brainwave entrainment programs (such as awakened minds) that use what is referred to as low carrier frequencies with the binaural signals.
In this case you would need a pair of headphones that support freq's below 10hz. I use these ones. Sony MDR-V600 Theyre good for music/movies as well.
