I've just dragged out my old pulsar after a few years of gathering dust. I went back to square one after the penny dropped and I realized that I needed to train the most important thing and the main weak link in anyone's trick bag: the mind.

Made all the difference for me and I'm finally getting what people have said to me about how I can manifest with any old chi generator really.

Anyways, I do SFQ (qigong) as my mind training. What do you do?

I mostly use ZPoint to helo with my anxiety. I sometimes use a few tones from Iso Tones, but sadly my Mind Sync audio wont work on my Gigabeat so I had to buy a cheap Logik mp3 player.

I used to meditate occasionally, but I get annoyed by the background sound and quit with stuff quite soon.

One of the things I've noticed that can be very helpful with training the mind is just learning to make it quiet. A silent mind can be very powerful when wishing to manifest something, but you have to practice to really get it down pat, to some degree anyway.

I've noticed when I'm in a silent mind-state, my manifesting works 10 times better. I've also noticed my psychic functioning works better too. I think this is such a big key that many people miss when it comes to "working" on your mind powers, or whatever you wish to call it.

Also, it's alot easier than it seem's, just learning to "be quiet", is the thing here. Being quiet and focusing on the third-eye can do you all sorts of wonders, but it's slow going, you have to be patient.

I think you should not only train the mind, but the energy body also, as a big bonus.

For the energy body, I do NEW exercises (well, sometimes... I'm a lazy bastard).
For the mind... Didn't do anything yet. (See above. Laughing ) Even though I try quieting it sometimes for a few minutes, then go on with my daily business.

depends on my mood.

basic : meditation with archangel near root chakra
intermediate : with looped self-recorded affirmations
advanced : sitting on a stack of double-sided moonshadow paper chigens

Cool

i guess the crucial point is to do whatever that suits your comfort level.

Silence is akin to cessation of thoughts. When there are truly no thoughts, breathing will stop naturally, especially during the turns (the gap between current exhale & the next inhale). This gap (cessation of the breath) will extend as you practice. Forcing it is incorrect, it will arrive naturally.

Contemplate emptiness, non-grasping to any thoughts or forms, even when they are abound.

Do TM. just focus on a word, repeat it a few hundred times till it becomes meaningless, then you're in a state of transcendence. A powerful state of connectedness with your subconscious and superconscious. Ask yourself questions will in this altered state and you will hear good answers that get past the limiting filters of the conscious mind
