Anybody use them? There are a lot of planetary and spirit sigils in his books that seemingly have great use, but I've never heard much talk of them on here.

There not exactly Uncle Chuckie's. He probably got them from other sources. Franz Bardon's magical evocation book has a shitload of useful sigils that can be used for every purpose that you can think of. Oh and to answer your question. I use them. Luv them disruption patterns.

Psionic Power has the full 72 Goetic sigils and their use as patterns in the appendix. I have used these a little less frequently, but am about to change that this year. Oh yesss.

Psionic Grimore has the planetary pentacles of the Greater Key of Solomon and Uncle Chuckie's thoughts about their use in it, as well as some of Bardon's planetary spirit sigils. I have used the Solomonic pentacles the most frequently, but am definitely planning to put a few more into effect soon.

Other than that Uncle Chuckie explains the use of the Kamea, or other methods of deriving sigils in various places.

I am a little less interested in contacting spirits and such, and have more use for the sigils as patterns, and trend links.

I have both those books and a few others by Uncle Chuckie.

When you project a seal (goetia or KoS) into a person, do you take the rate for the seal or the target or the combination?

I tried the first, didn't work. I tried the second (after some help from user stan34ster here), but so far didn't work. In the past I've used the combo, without results.

How have you, McBeef, done on your most successful such operations?

I take the rate a gestalt of the trend, and target. I focus on visualizing the energy of the operation penetrating the target in a vortex of waves, and take the rate.

Then I let it run, and forget about it, as much as possible.

If I'm reading a reoccurring theme in some of your posts, I might suggest setting up an operation on yourself to distance you from being too attached to results.

Thank you mr McBeef! That would be the combo then, which to me does sound reasonable.. since then one has connected to both trend and target, instead of just one of them.

Yeah, you are probably right!

When I use chi-gens it's easier [to forget the trend] since then the trend is run for some hours and then stopped. Without a chi-gen running 24h, the 3dial box is right under my nose aimed at the same target for days.

The simplest answer Iceman is to take a rate for a trend like "Worrying about outcomes", or "Obsessing over girls", or "Frightened for my job", and then set a balancing rate- i.e. what ever rate you got for the original trend subtract that from 10, and then set that as your "balancing rate" to cancel out the energies you don't want. You're essentially running the OPPOSITE of the trend you set up.

This works for thought forms like "Feelings of failure" stuff like that. "Shyness" etc.

You're setting up a counter wave that will cancel out the unwanted fields in your aura/target's aura.

This is all in Cosimano's books, so he gets all the credit. I just read the books, and apply it every so often. (Okay so I've read most of his books like 3-4x, right?)

As for how to "Set and Forget"?

Basic Sigil Theory states that we have what they call a "psychic censor", basically a portion of the subconscious that acts like a critical voice that tries to sabotage our conscious efforts at manifestation. Reading Frater U:.D:.'s "Practical Sigil Magic" will tell you lots of ways to counter act it.

I just kind of do my operations, then jump right into something else.

Some Tai Chi, watching the Family Guy, or Miami Vice, Sarging HB's, making dinner, go for a walk, work out, whatever jut to get my mind off that track of "I did MAGICK!" ((cue echo voice))

I mean, sometimes I'll do several spells/psionic experiments in a row, but afterwards I'll do some jumping jacks, or jump rope, read a comic book or something to get me in a totally different state. Pizza helps. (Even if I'm not supposed to have it )

Then I just kind of go about my business for the week or whatever. I check in with the gear when ever I feel like it's needed, but I cultivate an attitude of "Positive Disbelief". I don't expect anything to happen other than gaining more data about how I do Psionics, I don't NOT expect anything to happen either. That way I'm kind of pleasantly surprised when something does.

As for a visualization, if I were dissolving one of my own blocks I would picture myself, and then picture a "negative thought form" in my energy field, and as I set the rates for the balancing trend I would visualize that thought form dissolving like an ice cube into nothingness. You could even go so far as to visualize from ice to liquid to steam to nothing.

hey richard, wow that post seems to be the magic key of what i've been looking for. After countless hours of meditation, I can only go so deep into my blocks to dissolve them with understanding. I have read about this previously but never fully understood how to go about in doing so.

I can't seem to make CS7 do balancing rates. Neither the Welz' radionics program (the one with 5 positions). I just want to write the trend and click and get the "balance rate" or whatever is the trend. Any ideas?

Janie, that doesn't make sense, why remove resistance to shyness?

Yes, I do use a 0-100 dial to find % type questions with a stick pad, and I find that very useful.

...but if I were practicing nearly as much as I am on this forum, I'd be miles better by now.

Lucky bastard. I can't even get a stick on the stick pad. I've been using my pendulum to get rates. Although I did try it yesterday and I got a stick on 1 of the rate and then couldn't repeat the success for the 2 other. I think the ability is coming to me.
