This is the most effective way to be healthy, loose weight and feel great all day long (all life long i should say!). If you have those couple of pounds that you just cant seem to loose no matter what you try, follow these simple steps and I can almost guarantee you that the weight will just disappear. *Disclaimer: following this regime you may feel a surge of energy all day, be satiated all day, cure many diseases and illnesses, and be more happier!*
In the morning from 6 am to 10 am Ayurveda suggests eating light foods such as fruits, nuts, cheese, milk products, and tea. It is a misconception these days that a large breakfast is a necessity. Any grains, meats, eggs are not suggested because this food is heavy and thus will make one tired stealing his energy from thought. This food will also pass you very quickly since the wind energy is very active in the morning, thus making nutrient absorption low, you are pretty much eating for the toilet. Some might notice that their energy levels in the mornings are low, and this might be due to a large breakfast and also from improper waking up times. It is also very important for women to eat sweet during the morning, such as fruits, dried fruits, condensed milk, yogurt, as sweets will improve the female hormonal system.
From about 10 am to 2 pm this time is reserved for a large lunch. The sun is highest during this time and the sun energy assists us in burning up everything we eat, and provides ample energy for digestion and absorption without stealing our own internal energy. During this time one may eat anything they wish in a quantity they wish, people on a diet should not worry. This time you can eat a bucket load and everything will digest properly. It is recommended that all tastes be eaten, salty, bitter, spicy, sweet, sour. It is important to note the proper time is from 10am to 2 pm, and even better from 11am to 1pm.
After 2pm Ayurveda suggest we eat only light foods just like in the morning. Salads are absolutely perfect, nuts and milk products. A key note is nothing should be eaten after 6 pm.
If one follows these very simple guidelines they will feel satiated the whole day and they will not get any cravings. And unlike a diet, you can still eat whatever you like, only in the proper time! Water intake should be minimum 2 liters a day (3 liters is best) and it is absolutely essential that one walks twice a day for 10-15 minutes each in the morning and at night before bed. Following these very simple steps one will loose weight, cure their so called “incurable” diseases, and feel absolutely tremendous. You know what, don’t even believe me, go out and do it for yourself and I know you will feel like a brand new you.
