I was at work late Thursday morning when I started having severe abdominal pains. I called up my doctor for an emergency appointment after lunch. I had to drive over an hour to get to his office and then wait a half hour for the office to open, all the while the pain is acute. The good doctor sends me out for a CAT scan at the hospital and they admit me before I even know what the diagnosis is. I soon find out that I am to have an appendectomy immediately. I had time to make 3 quick phone calls before I was wheeled off to the operating room. I went from having a normal day to being operated on in the course of 4 hours.

They let me go home yesterday, the day after the surgery. I had a laprascopic surgery so less recovery time will be needed (3 small holes instead of a 3 - 4 inch gash). It is still very sore and I am not to be active for many more days, but the intense pain is gone; it is such a relief. New Year's is a very quiet, relaxing, if somewhat painful holiday this year.

Naturally, I have set trends on my X2 for a quick and full recovery. I also am doing my qi gong and Kundalini Reiki self healing, as Joey has attuned me to level 3. I have been doing these all along, and in spite of all of this, I get appendicitis! I had never sick in any way since I started qi gong about 6 years ago.

Oddly, I did have a persistent knot in my shoulder/upper back that I set a trend on to get rid of last week. It was getting a bit of improvement, but after the appendix was removed, the knot vanished! I hope that the universal energy in its great wisdom did not decide that the best way to get rid of this knot was to give me appendicitis! Laughing

Anyway, since there are so many kind and caring souls on our board, if anyone sees fit to send a little extra healing energy my way via radionics or reiki, it would be greatly appreciated. Very Happy
