Thats actually kind of funny... I was already using wings a little bit. I saw the form of wings as a good outlet for extra energy for some reason and was fooling around with it because my back was sore, I spread them and stretched(the wings) them and suddenly my back cracked in about 5 places and felt much better
I kept fooling around for a little while and was using them as a way to keep warm in the wind(worked surprisingly), I didn't think it was an actual technique I just kind of made it up on my own, but all the descriptions of the locations of energy and everything fit, haha interesting!
