I know alot of you people here who are totally anti-marijuana.
But i want to show you guys a different opinion then we are used to concerning marijuana.

I'm against anything that interferes with gas exchange in the lungs, and I'm not crazy about my nervous system fighting off what is after all a sensory impairment. However if you must do this, then at least go Full Metal Jacket/Hollow Point and rock some Hash Brownies. Automatically gets rid of the munchie problem too.

hey tim,

marijuana was/is used by "yogis" in India for the purpose of meditation. I think because of its addictive nature, it may not that much acceptance. Since everything is subjective, so some agree some dont.

I wouldn't touch the stuff, despite the marginal health benefit. Ask a clairvoyant to view your aura while you puff the happysticks. Your auric field goes into shreds- rapidly.

I think cannabis is a divine plant, one of the greatests gifts, i think it is.

I can consider myself to bhe a bit clairvoyant, and i can observe auras quite a bit. So i dont believe the so called ''clairvoyants'' who see your aura turn to shreds when you smoke... I myself see an expansion instead.

I'd say: go down that road, but responsible.

You guys are surely stuffed with the american war on drugs propaganda...

I think it's the arrogance of alot of psychics and meditation freaks, that they cant accept that there is another way to reach those altered states of conciousness, through substance.

If we look at our history we see: shamans, yogi's use it, hell, there're even rumors that it's mentioned in the bible.

I for one think that it helps while doing radionics. Dosage is important, less is more. Imagination flares up, and it takes a little disipline to bring it under control during your operations.
Pot has effect on your third eye, there is no question in my mind about that, the down side is that it tends to be harder to keep your mind still on one thing.

Well, I did Salvia, twice. I can recommend it. Believe me, you will get the true definition of alternate consciousness. Without any side effects at all. You will get slightly nauseous afterwards, which will ensure you only try it for real mind expansion.

Cannabis is an herb, and the chemical in question is not intended to be inhaled... In fact, taking it in through the lungs is one of the least efficient means of using the substance
Your brain communicates to you and your body via electrical impulses and chemical releases, to me a drug is a drug when it is a substitute or influx of/for those naturally occurring chemicals
Cannabis interacts with your brain by bonding with receptors that control a degree of pleasure (how good/happy you feel) and your feeding habits (which causes the munchies) There are currently no known functions or other chemicals that naturally access these receptors and THC has shown no noticeable damage to these receptors
and no, you can't become addicted to it but you can want it all the time

To explain why you can't be addicted to this substance I must explain addiction... Your brain operates with chemicals that control pretty much everything. Your balance of chemicals is what makes up your demeanor and all that fun stuff. When you use an addictive substance, you receive a massive dosage of the happy chemicals (and others) that your brain makes. When you receive these chemicals your brain thinks, oh, I don't need to make as much of this anymore since I get plenty of it every day from this drug and your natural level of that chemical lowers permanently, but your brain still seeks to fill its initial level of that chemical, so it seeks out that substance. The more of a substance you take over time, the less chemicals your brain has and the greater the urges for that drug become. This is also why addictions never get better

Also, most people's perception of cannabis is from the most common low grade variant that we'll call "regs"
regs put you in a general stupor and should be avoided as they frequently have adulterants or chemical fertilizers or solvents on them and can cause problems such as depression or other such things.
High quality cannabis varies greatly in its highs and can cause anything from high energy and creativity to putting you to sleep

THC has a generally calming effect though, so I am certain the applications of that effect alone could merit its use

Now, I am not highly knowledgeable in the area of mental powers, but using an aid to induce a state or help you on your way earlier on is perfectly fine unless you use it as a crutch, and experimenting with the uses of this substance also seems good as it is actually one of the few things on this planet that seem to take on an almost ethereal visage where it seems to glow when grown well

I also do not believe it has any effect on your Aura other then a possible placebo effect if you believe one way or the other

As for Salvia I suggest avoiding it as long term usage has apparently resulted in a high suicide rate among the users
Also, its effects are too strong and too short in duration to have any true meaning
The way your SUPPOSED to do salvia is by making it into a body paste that lasts a few days and is at least 10 times stronger then the current max extract that you can smoke (shamans refused to divulge how the paste is made as its a sacred initiation ritual)

once again, you shouldn't use anything as a crutch to perform your mental work, but being able to experience a certain state with aid a few times can help you to achieve it on your own, and who knows if there are potential benefits from its usage in this field

The munchies seem more like a warmt/stimulation in my naval chakra area rather than hunger.
I do beleive you can somewhat evolve mentally using specific drugs, if you can learn and function in such drastic changes in perception, the end result makes you better able to understand and cope with certain situations.
An example would be astral projection, The sensations and perceptions usually experienced are usually quite mind bending, for someone not really prepared it can turn out to be disasterious as your imaginations and metal state will get the better of you, I think to an extent using certain drugs to alter your perception in a way prepares you for different experiences. I also think your approach to drugs should be one of respect and caution.
Smoking marijuana or any other drugs doesnt go too well with me i feel a sort of "icky hazy" energy (or lack of) surrounding me, Consuming it in other ways doesnt not produce this effect.
It is my opinion that you can gain beneficial effects from it. Depends on your approach and state of mind. But my personal choice is to not use it for my development.

Always figured if i could go back in time i'd have to carry a pack of ciggs with me.. I could pretend to be a dragon.
