i think it is a great idea to combine Greedygrowers' "UNLIMITED PERMISSION BUTTON" with EFT. This is an evolved version of my 'negtativity is a choice' thread(http://xtrememind.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=20500&highlight=#20500. Thanks to Greedygrower I think that the concept of giving yourself permission is a better concept than the concept of 'choice'.

I think (and I think Greedygrower thinks the same) that our core self is eternal love, and that we are always, welcome, good enough, powerfull, really loved, etc. etc.. (all the chakra affirmations from Sthephane Hemon, for those who are familiar with ideagasms).

The reason that we don't always feel so is that I on some level we don't give ourself PERMISSION t to be welcome, good enough, powerfull, really loved, etc. etc... Once we fully realize and acknowledge that we are the ones who don't give ourselve permission and take full responsibilty for our life, it is much more easy to release these negative thoughts and feelings, because if we decide to not give ourself permission we can also decide to give ourself persmission.

this is about taking full responsibilty for the things we permit to ourselve. I have the idea that in using EFT this is a good frame to work this, and I just experimented with the following EFT procedure..

-even though I don't give myself permission to feel powerfull, I really love myself. And than two rounds of: even though I don't give myself permission to feel powerfull, while tapping on each point.

And than two rounds of: I give myself permission to feel powerfull. After tapping on each point and say to myself that affirmation, I imagine that I press the red button and I feel a very loud thunder. I repeat that for each tapping point.

To be more exactly:
tapping point 1: I give myself permission to feel powerfull - PRESS RED BUTTON - SOUND OF THUNDER!!!
tapping point 2: I give myself permission to feel powerfull - PRESS RED BUTTON - SOUND OF THUNDER!!!
etc..etc.. until all points are tapped, and then the next round.

I think this is a very good frame to work to use EFT to get rid of everything you don't need and at the same time to practice with and to strengthen the unlimited permission button.

That's good. It was in response to people around me that I gave up most of my personal power and abilities. It was safer than going against everyone at once. By the time I was in 8th grade everyone in my class hated me ... even my only friend at the time.

People hated my guts too back then. Know what? Some bullies regularly dumped in the trashbin after breaks.

That was for 4 years in the primary school.

You're in good company. Some IT gurus like Bill Gates and Michael Dell admitted in some bios how people pushed them as kids.

Now they push corporations around.

I was despised completely by the time of sixth grade.. By students, parents, and teachers..


Literally, a whole community vehemently detested me..
(For reasons that are neither important to this present moment, nor are recalled idly).

And like you, I achieved quite a level of infamy early on; which was made all the greater by way of the spectacles that arose from the performance of what some might call super-human feats.. Astonishing others with the occasional display of a seemingly 'impossible' exertion of strength, endurance or speed.


Yet as you may imagine, I did not think much of such things at the time they occurred; I was really just having fun and making only a light effort on my part.


I simply seemed to excel in everything.

..From the realm of academics & memory, to the realm of sports & athletics.. Even such things as singing & theater.
And although such attention was not welcomed or encouraged by me at all, as I was once terribly, terribly shy..
Everyone would not cease gossiping and pointing out the oddity of it all!


Inevitably, the words of others eventually will begin to set some very negative conceptions regarding limitations.. And begin to poorly affect one's self-confidence over the ensuing years that follow.

Something I feel we would all agree to be a true loss of innocence.


*sigh* So, I can sympathize with your loss, Tom.

Having had such grace.. such glory.. such a wonderfully free-flowing power as a child..

It does sometimes feel as though I am only trying to attain to that unmindful state of innocence once again.
