How time flies. It seems I've been practicing for well over 3 years now. Baby years compared to some I suppose but overall I've made what I consider good progress. Early on I mainly noticed a stronger energy body and a sense of inner peace. Later on I recognized that these things are part of building the connections for the higher self which is the main point, some other styles might call it the spiritual body etc but the practice seems to thicken the connections to access this body/consciousness.
I think that everyone should be able to access the hs/spirit body but while some people might click better with med mastery, others might try shamanism or other things. I'm not sure why different people click with one and not the other but it just seems to be the way. I spent some time with some Ratu Bagus people and the teacher said to me that she believes that it is the higher self/spiritual body that makes her shake but she calls it the "I am" state or something like that.
maybe it's stupid question ..
After connected to higher self, what happen ?
I've done some shaking but I'm wary of Ratu Bagus because I had some not cool experiences when I visited his place in Bali. I've also done shaking with Dr. Keeney though which felt really good, it was great. Still prefer meditation though. No reason not to do both if they work for you. One of my friends said he just felt like a psychotic patient doing the shaking though.

Well here goes my ramble!
I've had what I call "special effects" experiences where I'd see lights, spirits, "angels", hear and see my Higher Self, astral project etc. I've also had a time when the curtains lifted up and I felt like I was experiencing what happens before birth and after death. Another forummer helped me with that. As interesting as these things were what it comes down to for me is feeling a better level of contentment. I worked out that this is what I really wanted from my practice. Support helped me to focus on the true essence of the Higher Self which is not astral projection, seeing lights or talking to entities but about getting the highest level of contentment. Translation: peace, happiness, love, self acceptance. While it might sound a bit woo, I doubt that anyone wouldn't enjoy these experiences because they are good.
So after about 8 months I was having experiences where I felt very absorbed in peace and a type of happiness. You could have the stereo pumping in the room and I wouldn't notice. Then after about 3 months I went deeper, let go of this absorbed rapturous feeling and more peaceful. Which is actually happier, well it's redefined happiness and love for me because I'm less dependent on being in a certain state or emotion. A Theravadan monk said to me that he believed that I experienced stream entry but that means not much to me. It's just interesting to know that there might be cross over between different styles.
I also had a time when all this past deep pain that I had came up. It was really intense, then all of a sudden I could still feel the pain but I wasn't hurting from it anymore. I was experiencing the pain but no suffering and actually was in deep peace. I've talked to other people who've had this experience too and while it may not sound like much it's actually a wonderful experience. What is interesting is that I wasn't distracting myself from the pain I was actually as close as you can get but I wasn't hurting at all and I wasn't in some sort of numbness, my mind just stopped judging the pain and I was at peace in spite of the pain. The first time this happened I was shocked and I stayed like this for about 4 hours. I've also had this happen to me with physical pain when I do long meditation sessions.
I'm confident to say that my higher self guided me through these events. Having a connection to my Higher Self means that my Spiritual purpose is stronger and more my priority. I guess you could look at it that some people are more connected to the animal body, or the intellectual body or the pain body or the emotional body etc and each one has it's own drive. I'm just putting ideas out there and by no means am I an expert but let's just say that the animal body might be more about eating, food, sex etc, the intellectual body might prompt more ideas, thinking, talking etc, the pain body might get people trapped in dramas and old wounds etc, the emotional body might get people revolving their lives around feeling.
My Higher Self gives me a different persective because I've experienced peace, love and happiness differently from how I used to define those things. So I don't chase quick fixes anymore because I've experienced something better. It's like how I'll never go back to eating spam after eating real burger. I also think that some people are naturally more connected to their HS/spirit body even without meditation but meditation can strengthen their connection to the HS. These types of people probably have a pull to spiritual paths, whatever that may be.
This is all just my experience and obviously different people are going to want different things, have some things suit them and others not but if my experiences help at all I'm glad to help and if not just leave em on the table.
PM me if you want, I'm not always on the forum so it can be easier to get me that way.

God I had a similar kind of experience to that curtains lifted up before birth and after death but on Salvia and it was not nice! BUT I guess being on drugs and not being ready for it is why I only have myself to blame!
Thanks for sharing. I've had positive personal development from meditation too, I feel a medium connection with my higher self and to get to this point I noticed that I just needed to keep actively building the connections daily so I'm happy with my progress.
Yeah I know now and I'd never touch drugs again even though Salvia was legal. It's just not worth the so called quick fix when results I can get from proper meditation don't mess me up and have better results anyway. Just drum it up to misadventures of youth.
Gotta agree there. I was having a talk once with a guy who believes that a daily habit of valium and pot is as good as high level meditation. Seriously. He couldn't even keep focused on our conversation. By contrast meditation people I know are very lucid and present.

Thanks for that inspiring and motivational post. Do you think that connecting more to the HS body also affects the other bodies in ways like needing to eat different food? I've noticed that for myself because certain diets give me more powerful meditation.
Homemade fresh vegetable or fruit juices or fruits make me feel extra clear and focused during meditation. Any suggestions for other supplements or vitamins?
i often search the web for other sites that discuss the LMG programs. does anyone know of any other sites? also, dr glenn morris comes back alot when searching meditation mastery. is anyone familiar with his program?
Dunno about other forums ghemr, seems like there's a lot of good info and exp posters here though. May be ask of PM some of them?
Fusion: have you tried ormus? Some report strong effects and some not much but may depend on the maker. Also piracetam may work. I find supplements hit and miss depending on the person.

To the question of diet I know what NOT to eat, drink or ingest before meditation...
Spicy Curries
Nachos
Coffee
Red Cordial
Alcohol
First thing in the morning before breakfast and last thing at night a few hours after dinner is great for me.
Yeah I agree that supplements can be hit and miss in that it seems to depend on the person. My basics now are just fish oil, vitamin C and D. My diet is similar to paleo (I'm not 100% strict though) because it seems to suit me but is not for everyone either.

Have you had experiences to share about ormus with or without meditation?
