Apologies for taking so long to reply & Thank you, PH for yours, as charts are a good way to get your skills. I also find that it is important - quite important - that you be as undisturbed & focused as possible throughout your dowsing until you become familiar with it. Remember, you must leave your thoughts on any matter that you dowse upon- behind you. You do not want to influence the outcome of any question & you must be willing to accept the answer, regardless! I wish you well in your success with dowsing & don't become frustrated with it - it will come to you more as you relax & realize this is a special gift! Blessings,9x

Hmmm, that's the almost identical thing I experienced on that situation, PH! Therefore, I would be of little help here, as I've never since used my pendulum to spell out words - it's just something that I haven't found a good use or need for. For one thing, I'd feel that I were invading 'sacred space' to access names, without expressed permission, to do so. And I sincerely hope that most are working harder to gain their permissions to do so beforehand. I've seen some high prices paid for 'snooping without explicit permission of others' too & I myself liken it to home invasion! My dowsing now is mostly to be a 'conduit' to receive & send healing energies, or finding lost articles & pets for others. I once used GoogleEarth to remotely dowse an underground leaking pipe for a friend- he was hellbent on the fact that I could do this - & it surprised the crap out of me when he informed me I got within 18 inches of (close enough for him to find) it! The only charts I use now with letters are those where the letters are contained in a formula. Just a bit of insight into my current methods - And always keep in mind - dowsing is quite comparable to playing music- the more often you practice, the better you get! And you may wish to try different instruments too - I also use a bobber, L rods, & am currently designing a completely different type pendulum, too! Good luck & Blessings, 9x

You also can get Raymon Grace book "Techniques That Work for Me", it's very good reference and contains good applications for dowsing.

When I start dowsing and clearing myself from entities or negative blocking energies, I got a lot of painful cramping in the left toes and sudden spontaneous movements in my left arm, all these while the pendulum is revolving until it stops those cramps stop also.
And when I do program the energies with positive thoughts and feelings, I feel the right toes cramping but a little.

Does anyone experienced that or knows a reason for that, I keep having this for more than 2 years back.
