I was going to post this in Elroy's virtual ECA thread but I decided to make a new one since it gets a little rambling. In his thread I talked about how I tried one dose of ECA (ephedrine, caffeine, aspirin) and had some stark results. That was on Friday, it's now Tuesday and I'll hit you guys up with what's going down.

Background: I've been doing radionicized versions of supplements/chemicals for awhile now with some pretty nifty effects and some other body enhancement things. 2 months or so ago I killed them all, shut them all down to try another experiment. I decided to eat like the typical North American and sit around feeling my butt grow. That pre-experiment preparation culminated on Friday with my weight of 300 lbs and bodyfat of 31.26%. The fun began.

I'm still doing ECA but I've added to it. Alpha-lipoic Acid, Green Tea (teehee Wink) extract, and Garlic extract tabs. 3x daily 5 days a week is the schedule I'll be sticking to (except the garlic, that's 3x per day 7 days a week).

On top of that, I'm doing 20 minutes of light cardio 3x a week (gonna ease myself back in).

I dove heavily back into my thermogenic protocol, drinking at least 4 litres of icewater daily. I keep an ice pack on the back of my neck/shoulders/traps area as much as I can to activate brown fat and muscular Glut-1 receptors (we're talking at least 10 hours per day), and I'm taking 30 minute ice baths 5 nights a week. It's also winter here in Canada so I spend as much of my time as possible in my underwear with the heat off in my cold cold apartment (I'm a uni student so the only time I really need to wear clothes is when I'm in the lab or working at the hospital, and only 1 of my classes isn't online).

I've also been downing 2 table spoons of applecider vinegar mixed in 1 cup of cold water 3x daily every day.

I didn't change up my dietary intake (I still eat all the same garbage), but I've been strictly calorie counting and brought it down to 2000 per day, give or take 50 calories or so. I graze 250 calorie snacks 8 times per day which boosts metabolism. I eat breakfast and drink 1 litre of ice water immediately upon waking to supercharge my metabolic rate. My breakfast contains about 30 grams of protein in some form (also to supercharge metabolism). I take my first stack of the day upon waking as well along with my first applecider vinegar cocktail.

1 day a week I pig out on however much of whatever crap I want (this also supercharges metabolism when you are regularly on a diminished calorie diet), a cheat day of sorts. My first one was yesterday.

WARNINGS:This isn't for everyone, don't try to do anything to your body without trained medical supervision IN PERSON. Keep in mind MY background. I have ridiculously good genes and as a teenager I was a distance runner and power lifter. Even at 300 lbs with 31.26% bodyfat, my average blood pressure was 116/77 and my resting heartrate was exactly 60 bpm. DON'T BE FUCKING AROUND WITH YOUR BIOLOGY/BIOCHEMISTRY WITHOUT TRAINED SUPERVISION. I have 15 years worth of experience in training and biology. I'm double majoring in psychology (specifically neuropsych) and biology (specifically biochemistry), I'm also in the pre-med concentration at my university. You've been warned and I'm disclaimed and liability free.

Now as to my 4 day results. I weigh 288 lbs with a bodyfat% of 26.91. This means my lean body mass has increased by about 5 lbs. The bodyfat measuring is based on calculating volumetrics against weight so there is some margin for error, but also, I am ridiculously good at putting on muscle; it's part of those good genetics (seriously, I've never had a problem putting on like 14 lbs of muscle in a month before without the need to juice; yes it's easily possible, look it up).

My blood pressure is an average of 115/75 and my resting heart rate is 57. My body temperature has gone from a stable 37 degrees C, to a stable 38.2. Instead of sleeping 8 hours and waking 16, the new trend is sleeping 6 waking 20. I sleep better and feel great. I don't get hungry and actually have to set alarms to tell me to eat or I'll forget. My libido is cranked and my refractory period is now around 2 minutes. Also I've been more aware of the opposite sex. I didn't get a chance to check my blood testosterone levels before this experiment sadly.

I have had no "negative" side effects from the ECA. My heartrate doesn't change, nor does my blood pressure (I know because I test them both every 5 minutes for 90 minutes following my doses and then every half hour until a total of 5 hours have passed wherein I take the next dose). I document EVERYTHING I can think of throughout the day like an OCD freak.

Anyway, enjoy! I'll add more as I think of it or if anything new comes along.

Interesting. Very interesting in fact. I purchased The 4 Hour Body a couple of weeks ago, and was going to post about it as an excellent manifestation manual. Reading between the lines, and likewise plenty of in-your-face advice, the book is one of the better books on manifestation even though the subject matter is actually sculpting a better body. The latter chapters get into this in earnest, but I was more interested in the earlier chapters on diet, and the displays of critical thinking vis-a-vis "popular thinking" (read as conventional thinking actually=BS), and the amount of testing the author does to prove and disprove popular myths about food, diet, and exercise. While I may never get into the exercise aspect, the diet and food guidelines I have already adopted, so transition to Transhuman already begins...

Haha that's great. I got Ferriss's book the day it was released in December. I'll admit it was partly responsible for my inspiration to tackle this. It's funny though, almost ALL of the stuff he talks about I already knew about for years and had been experimenting with on and off for the last decade.

Dad used to put me in an ice bath every day after weightlifting and I was like 17.

The things that were new to me were "slow carb" dieting, which I was only vaguely aware of in regards to the glycemic index for example. I actually slow carbed back before xmas, and it had some good results, but wasn't my cup of tea. Social responsibilities screwed it up for me. "What do you mean you can't eat potatos for Christmas dinner?"

Anyway, I just got out of an ice bath. It's so freaking envigorating haha. Though I do miss the old stand up bin we used for it, it sucks doing it in a bathtub.

Good to know your back at work with the body modification trends RB.

Have you not considered trying any of these with earlier trends for more... pronounced, results?

Or are you conducting this for its own merits?

I must say, I'm surprised that you willingly put the pounds on. Although I imagine it must have been a very enjoyable experience, eating junk food and all! Laughing

For its own merit. After I get it to where I want it I might throw some actual radioncs and the like back in the mix and see where that gets me.

It was pretty fun. Family and friends thought I was insane. GF was like "I know you know what you're doing, just be safe". Doctor was like "You need me to sign off on something crazy? Sure, I'm going on paternity leave anyway. Try not to kill yourself."

Today's morning results: 286 lbs, 25.95% bodyfat. Almost a whole percent in 18 hours.

Ran into a buddy I hadn't seen in a week today, first thing he said "DUDE! What the hell?! Are you sick or something?"

Also, slept less than 5 hours last night after being up for 18 (I had to force myself to sleep because I had stuff to do today). Feel 100%.

Update for today. Last night passed out after 16.5 hours. I was actually tired so I sacked. Woke up after 5 hours and could've gotten up, but I decided to try and sleep more and it worked. Got a full 8 hours all tolled.

Resting heart rate is now 54 bpm. Went to the gym today and had to walk 3 minutes and 5 seconds at 3mph (warming up) before my HR went above 57 bpm, after which it went up pretty drastically (to where I expected) at the rate I expected, topping out at 168. This is down from day before last when I had it to 174 with the same amount of time/effort.

Blood pressure is still averaging 115/75.

Weight hasn't changed (still 286 lbs), but inches continued to drop. Bodyfat is now 24.86%. There seems to be a tapering effect, which I expected albet not this quickly; it needs more monitoring before I can make a concrete claim about it.

The weight stability could be because I haven't dropped a deuce in a couple days, which is highly unusual for me. I'm not feeling constipated, I just don't have to go.

The rebounding effect in my cardio cool-down is improving as well, at the end of the machine's cool down period my HR was 141 whereas day before last it was 145.

Not bad for 6 bloody days.

Your making good progress but be careful about sleep. I'm sure you know the negative effects of not getting enough of it, many of which would counteract the intended results of your experiment.

On a lighter note. Dump the truck mate. Really... 3 days is a long time...

I'm not worried about the sleep side of things yet. That's the craziness about the speed of this, I can't really mark out any specific trends because no where near enough time has passed to be statistically significant, on a graph or otherwise.

2 days, but yeah I hear ya. When I feel the need I will for sure, but until then I'm not gonna go try to give myself a brain hemmorage or hemorrhoids by straining. If nothing's moved by tomorrow night, I'm gonna use a saltwater cleansing trick I used to use years ago when I got stopped up all the time.

Sodium ascorbate powder is great for moving and cleansing the system without pain. It's basically pure vitamin-C.It has numerous health benefits and is an extremely powerful antioxidant.Do a google on it.

The issue solved itself last night. Twice haha.

Anyway today, 284.5 lbs, 23.52% bodyfat. Meaning in one week I dropped 15.5 lbs and 7.74% bodyfat.

The bodyfat diminishing was pretty surprising calculating yesterday's against today's.

My circumference at my navel is really tapering off in size loss (which is expected since there's more muscle there), but my big spare tire is still dropping at what seems to be .86 inches per day. It started at 53.5 inches and is now 47.5.

Sleep wise had a fairly regular day and night. 16.5 hours awake, 7 asleep.

23% bodyfat is the North American male average for my age group, I should be there by Monday.

Today was gongshow busy with all kinds of crap. Ended up eating a little north of calorie barrier but wasn't too bad, still dropped some more circumference. Didn't get a chance to weigh or hit the gym OR ice bath. Just total gongshow.

Tomorrow things should be reset to normal.
