Anyone that has actually risen their kundalini through Yogic methods have any recommendations? I was looking for different yoga books as a sort of guide to starting a practice. There was this one I came across called Kundalini Tantra by Saraswati.

Some found it useful but I know of no one who awakened their Kundalini through KAP. The organizers of KAP post on many online forums and don't come across are balanced people. I took Level 1 and didn't care much for it. Someone has collated some KAP reviews in a blog

I didnt get the impression it was a cult but not impressed either.

While experimenting once, I accidentally raised my kundalini and felt a huge rush of energy up my spine. My face turned red from all the energy and it hit me really quick and was totally unexpected. At the time I was lying down with a piece of red garnet about the size of a dime, which I had between my eyebrows. I can't guarantee this will work for you, but if you try it.... things might happen. As I said, this was just an experiment and I didn't know beforehand what would happen, all in all, it was fun and surprized me. I had the red garnet on my forehead for about 30 min. then stood up and took it off. As soon I removed the stone I had this rush of energy hit me.

I do think that meditation is a better way to get the kundalini to rise, rather than using a stone or crystal, but if you feel like experimenting I would take a shot at this. Any red stone would probably work, a ruby would work, but they are expensive. The red garnet I used cost about one or two dollars. Red jasper might also work, but I never tried it.

P.S.
I've always had fun with red garnet gemstones. Besides using it on my 6th chakra to raise my kundalini I've used it on my third-chakra by placing it over my belly button and after about 30 min. could feel my sexual energies being activated. What I was really feeling was my kundalini being raised up to my third-chakra. I've always had interesting experiences with this particular stone, it's very energetic from what I can tell.

And having raised your kundalini, what did you thereafter accomplish? Did you become enlightened? Have you "Ascended?" Have you developed psychic powers? Telepathy? Clairvoyance? Telekinesis? Weather Control? Or is this more along the lines of This Cool Thing Happened To Me, But I Can't Reproduce It And Nothing Significant Came Of It...

I DID have an increase in intuition by using the red garnet, BUT any method to raise the kundalini will result in some type of increase in psychic abilities. Sometimes you might not even notice this increase since it would be subtle. Raising the kundalini through meditation almost always increases a person's intuition to some extent, but so does other methods....and it's hard to quantify this since it will be different for everyone who tries it.

A way to rise kundalini and psychic powers is Kuji-In. I'm working on the course from François Lépine, this is very intense for me at this time. This system is very interesting. .

You can try also with Yogi Madan Gautam ,he seems to be one of the very few genuine shaktipat giver and it's free of charge . You can receive his guidance from long distance or travel to delhi...

Keep in mind : A true master will never send his own kundalini during shaktipat transmission. Many masters want to have worshiper so they use the wrong method....
