My friend had hurt is back somehow whilst at work. I asked him to sit down and we both closed our eyes while I invoked Archangel Raphael to descend and heal my friend, what we both experienced was quite remarkable. As I was in the middle of invoking and whilst our eyes were closed a brilliant white light came from above and surrounded us it seems and as i finished the invocation and thanked Archangel Raphael the Light then went away and as it did we opened our eyes and my friends pain had gone. Its the first time this has happened to me. Any views upon this our welcome.

Just asked God in prayer to send down Archangel Raphael to descend and heal my friend, nothing special was used. It was quite remarkable. This is the first time this has happened to me am amazed it did. |

Hey, great to see you asking Archangel Raphael for help! I ask him for assistance in healing all sorts of things all the time. Just recently I went to the dentist and asked Archangel Raphael and the angels of healing to come with me, and stay with me through the whole procedure. It was a very smooth and somewhat painless visit, even after I went home, there was no pain. On my next visit the Dentist asked me if I took the painkillers she gave me to get to sleep, since I would probably need them since the pain would be great. I told her i never touched them, she was surprized! I easily fell asleep and had very little to no pain until my next visit. Archangel Raphael works miracles!

| Yes Archangel Raphael is A great Healer and I feel so privileged to see him in action it was most unique. Seeing the Light descend all around us and then healing my friend I was astonished and have total faith. |

First of all, you should refer to them as "helpers" not minons. And for the rest of it.... I'll give you the short answer. God and his angels are as real as you and me, but they do not have physical bodies. So belief is not necessary, just willingness to call on them and also allowing them to send you energy....that's all that's needed!

However, it just sounds (to me) a little hypocritical to call the help of someone that I do not believe in.
I will do however understand if you mean it this way: That they are entities (so, let's call them Angels) irrelavent of religion and in no specifically defined form from religion. |

I understand what you're saying and to be truthful working with angels can be confusing at first. It's not easy getting into this since you're dealing for most part with beings you can't see or even know that they are there. But in spite of that they can give you little "signs" here and there to help you begin to work with them. Also, they are more than willng to work with someone who DOES NOT believe in them.
The angels understand that in 3D we deal with more the real and concrete rather than say the etheric realms, which do take a bit of practice to beging to notice. The angels also realize how important dealing with them can be since it will lead a person into a more "enlightened' state and also do wonders for a person's overall spiritual development. So a simple thing like invoking the angels to ask for healings and help in any area, can have a wonderful effect on a person.
When I first began to work wtih them, I did it very slowly, but as time went by I noticed I could get much help from them and continued to try to get to know them better. The one thing that really did it for me, that helped me so much to get to know them better was reading angel books. If you decide to look into this, I would recommend reading the books of Doreen Virtue (I've read all her books), and also doing searches on the internet for angel info from other authors.

I found something very interesting for anyone who wishes to start to work with the angels. There is a "28 day angel meditation" at the link below, and it's FREE. All you need to do is starting with day one read the short angel passage for that day and ponder it from time to time, during that day. Do this each day for 28 days and you'll have had a wonderful angel infusion of energy plus it's supposed to lead you to new areas of enlightentment. It's VERY simple to do this meditation and it's all free!

What evidence do you have that God and his angels are "as real as you and me" and how does that obviate the need for belief? If you haven't explained the former, how can the latter be true?

Since you haven't explained why someone would be willing to call on them if they don't believe in them, why would you demand that someone do so, essentially on your say-so?
You've explained nothing, and you have essentially demand belief with nothing to back up your statements. I can't even say that you've used the flimsiest of logic. You present nothing to help someone make a decision.
