For those of you who still want to know the answer, it's very simple and VERY easy to explain.

Ask "Is there is an energy to be removed?" Yes/No.

If yes, just tell the pendulum "Remove the goddamn energy" and it will most likely spin counter clockwise. Let it spin until it's done.

The theory is that this removes the energy. Try it and let me know.

ADD: You can also raise your vitality level etc with the same "spin until it stops" method.
