We all know that CS8 has been released, so let's post here, in a single thread, all the experiences, feedbacks and tips about this new version.

Well... been playing with CS8 for only two days and it is quite an improvement over CS7.

I DO feel a sensation when CS8 starts to broadcast a trend which CS7 never did.

Last night I ran a trend which involved me and another person, coupled with a mini-max and all night long I had heart pain and couldn't sleep ( with CS7 I never had any trouble with the same kind of trend )... wonder if the other person felt the same...

Good side about CS8: At last I can use mp3 files and SAVING SESSIONS!!!

The Bad side... it sucks HUGE ram from the computer now. I have an old P3 running 9 CS7 sessions side by side (in chunks of 3) with 256 Mb ram and it runs fine.... not by any chance can I do that with CS8 now...
... guess those quad-core processors do not look too expensive now...

So far.. I give CS8 a thumb up

I noticed CS8 doesn't have manual buttons for the trend and target rates which seems to be less complicated.It seems to use more memory and moves slower than CS7.I like the way i can run CS7 and CS8 simultaneously.

A question for both programs.Is it better to use the chi generator settings to link my rad5,or is it ok to place the image of the chi transfer in the top right box like i've been doing?

Berno, if you press the "view" button in the right upper corner, you get full control back like in cs7.

I havent tried it yet so far, but I'm a little bit disappointed in that it is still written in that crappy visual basic 6. Also, is it me or is there no exit option?

Are you serious Vortex? Is CS8 written in VB6? That's insane!

Wow, I can't believe that one of the most advanced radionics programs is written in a kid's programming language, lol. It... kind of says something, haha. Very Happy

Well, bear in mind, for the actual results it doesn't matter at all what language/platform you use (depending on what you do), but the general inferface looks so 1996 this way. Which is a shame since it would not be that difficult to port is to a sleek new interface, even without having to port all of the actual manifestation code (I understand it is thousands of lines of code).
