A movie called swordfish came out a few months before 9/11.hhmmm.;the movie was about a covert american military group robbing a bank,& pinning it on a foreign terrorist leader whom'' they''already killed ,put on ice , & planted at thier escape.I know just a movie...

Change is a great thing, but sweeping change? It's great talk at the podium, but this is not, "Mr. Smith goes to Washington." Working with congress is an entirley different animal. Barack is a freshman senator having not even chaired a commitee, and suddenly he thinks he'll be able to wheel and deal with congress?
Socialized education and medicine has to be paid for by someone. Barack and Clinton say it (taxes) will come from corporations. And how will the coporations respond?...moving jobs overseas resulting in layoffs here and charging much more for their products, etc.
Every canidate in history claimed on their platform "no cowtowing to special interests and lobbyists." It's the special interests and lobbyists that put millions in their campaign funds to start with. I guess the canidates all think that Americans are "stupid."
Democrats in office are already planning a 683 billion tax in increase over 5 years "if" they get the presidency. Hell we already have to claim the stimilus package from Bush on our taxes and "if" the republicans are voted out of office then all tax cuts by Bush will be erased. That's a real "smart" stimulus package put forth the the Dems.
My wife lived in England for a while and can tell you straight up that socialized medicine does not work like they say it will. When she lived there, those that could afford it would carry additional insurance since the gov't insurance covers only basic care. If you need surgery then you will have to go on long waiting lists since the entire public is on the same insurance.
