It's funny how that DVD was the only thing that's healthily stimulated my solar plexus. I found it a bit like a 2 hour trailer, but it was very motivating and inspiring. I'm let to live by the principles but I've found that having the mindset does produce good results.
I might have to watch the DVD again. I wonder if watchng it regularly will help you reach that state of mind. Like when I was reading a book about Tibetan dream and sleep yoga. My stress did go down quite a bit. I guess if you're constantly told about karma and suffering you'll start to think accordingly. To kind of catapult the propaganda. |

There's a new DVD by Raymon Grace called " choosing prosperity and freedom" that might also work well with programing someone to be more prosperous. It sounds like a DVD you might want to watch everyday too... along with The Secret.

I feel is approach is somewhat archaic... Ignoring outside events entirely to the point of isolationism
It is of somewhat importance to have an idea of whats going on around you, I say do read and watch but only as an observer, do not dwell on what has happened or give the action more energy to happen or fuel itself but simply be aware of it as a past event with no power in the present
I understand the reasoning behind his theory and it is fairly sound, but I just think it a bit of an extremist solution |

I learned from the site moderator last year that there are two kinds of people.
People who live today as a product of their past... always blaming blaming parents, friends for who they are.
and People who live today in terms of what they want to happen tomorrow.
Guys, who are you? Since I shifted to being the second type of person, I've transformed. A great deal!! It's a paradigm shift for me that even changed how others treat me. |

There are actually three types. You left out those who live in the future, always nervous and fretting about what will happen. Then again, those who live in the future behave similarly to those who live in the past, so the mod who told you this might not have made the distinction.
Since 2004, I've been trying to live in the present. I have made three large transformations since then (or perhaps three groups of small transformations?), and my life is much more enjoyable. _________________ It's not where we come from that tells us where to go.

Well, then as Freud would say, "You hafe ishues." But if you're referring to yourself, I think we already knew that. _________________ It's not where we come from that tells us where to go.

I have issues about having issues with Freud. Yes, perhaps my mom abused me as a kid. Yes perhaps my dad abused my dog in front of me. And yes perhaps my teacher abused my bro in front of the principal- but I don't believe all that leads to my current cravings of Doritos.

I am a Bandler Fanatic too.
When I feel like I have locked up unable to be creative, I just throw all things off and watch Bandler...
It does not matter which tape or disc, just watching him is a powerful anchor to that I begin to soften and relax...
Half hour of Bandler and I feel great..... _________________ Buy Green bean Coffee for weightloss |

For those of you outside the U.S., school shootings have now become an almost weekly occurance. The most recent was Thursday at Northern Illinois U. A gunman killed five students before killing himself. Not nearly as bad as VTech, but still enough to get the country in an uproar.
One of my friends in Chicago knew someone that was injured, but not killed, in the NIU shooting. So now she's started crusading about how we should email our congressmen and tell them to make schools more safe. She doesn't realize that trying to increase school security will not make a difference. All that will happen is losing our rights and freedoms while gaining nothing in return, just like Homeland Security.
But this got me thinking. It's a safe bet to say that TPTB like it when things like this happen. Things like this make people scared, and scared people are maleable people, and maleable people are easily controlled.
The nation as a whole is basically manifesting school shootings. Ever since Columbine, we hear about them all the time. The more we hear about them, the more they happen, and the more they happen, the more we hear about them.
So as I said, TPTB like school shootings, but am I going too far if I were to say the TPTB are behind some of them, if not all? _________________ It's not where we come from that tells us where to go.
