Anyone tried the method "Reverse Speech" as mentioned in http://www.reversespeech.com/submess.htm ? I made some script for my 7 yrs old niece following that method and she's quickly showned some positive result but scripts for me dont work! Ppl let try and share yr experience.

Maybe it's because you made it and have certain pre-expectations? Or perhaps you doubt that what you made will actually work?

Consider this like the case of many chefs hating to eat their own soup or doctors who can't treat themeselves

I don't see how it works....

Wouldn't you want to play each word in reverse as oppose to the entire messge in reverse.

ie. If you play a message "I am a super fine guy" in reverse, wouldn't that sound like "guy fine super a am I" to your subconcious, that would be be difficult for it to understand, wouldn't "I" reverse, "am" reverse, etc etc. be better...?

It started with the beetles. They used reverse speech known as BackMasking into their songs, making assertions like "I love Satan"

They got flack for that, though science disproved it.

Back in the 90s, Dr. Mojo of mojojones.com sold CDs full of reverse speech. Almost every NLP forum pronounced his products as worthless and ineffective.

I had many of my old vinyls transferred to CD and play them regularly. Definitely more heart swelling than the britney-pop and backstreet nonesense I hear these days.

I also never got it to work on myself. I read that people have blocks to understanding their subconcious, which is why they can find reversals from other people but not themselves. I haven't read much about it in ages. It was interesting but from what I read it takes too much time to get good at it and there wasn't too much in the way of studies to prove the guys hypothesis.

Has anyone tried playing Arials by System of a Down backwards? It's really weird. I couldn't pick many words up but it's just as good listening to it backwards as it is forwards.
