Better than being cocky (you'll probably come off as smarmy and egotistical), is showing interest in something she does. Any clue to her interests is helpful. Besides the fact that it's obviously something she'd already like to talk about, it's a hell of a lot better than "hubba hubba".

If you act like you can get any girl, it'll make it look like you don't care who you go home with--her or that brunette over there, it doesn't matter. Ego-bashing may be a nice one-night-stand technique, but she won't introduce you to any of her friends.

Also, anything read in "The Game" is only useful for club situations, if at all. Good luck impressing anyone in your regular life with that.

Women are not so concerned with how many sets of abs you have, or if your bicep veins needs an extra seat on the bus, the important thing is how you carry yourself and how you talk. And those things you can only get from practice.

I really like the hook and shut up technique one of the posters above was mentioning. I think it's really a good way to display your an interesting person. I was thinking you can even throw some humour in there too for example.
Her: What do you do?
You- You wouldn't believe me if I told you or you'll laugh if I tell you
Her: What is it
You: I'm a plus size model, or something kinda witty and funny, and then after tell them what I really do.
