Split is about a guy with 23 distinct characters (and the capacity to alter his body along with them) who holds three young girls hostage for what he refers to as “the animal”. As one of his characters warns the girls: “He’s done awful things to people and he’ll do awful things to you.”

Rings — February 3

The highly-anticipated third film in The Ring franchise is here, also it seems like it’ll be equally as terrifying as the very first two. Place 13 years afterwards, Rings deals with what occurs after Samara “gets” you.

A Remedy For Wellness — February 17

A Remedy for Wellness follows a future where fitspo gets out of control. There’s a secluded “wellness health spa” in the mountains where a solitary guy is sent to bring back his manager — before he’s diagnosed with the same “sickness” as all of the residents. !

Get Out — February 24

An interracial couple spend the weekend at one of their family’s estates for the weekend. Things are definitely not what they look. !

The Belko Experiment — March 17

A modern day dystopia, The Belko Experiment could be the most unsettling film of the year — only see the preview. It follows a group of 80 “nonprofit workers” in a skyscraper in Columbia. The edifice is fastened from the surface as well as the workers are ordered to turn on each other, or be killed. !

Alien: Covenant — May 19

The preview promises to fulfill the hoopla of the first, and despite naysayers, we say reinventing iconic franchises is interesting. Let’s only hope it gives on the panics.

The Dark Tower — July 28

Stephen King fanatics are hyped this is eventually going to be published after a decade of Hollywood play. The movie is founded on his 8-publication Dark Tower show and stars Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black. The film better be good as it’ll be followed with a Dark Tower TV series outside in 2018.

Annabelle 2 — August 11

The sequel to truly terrifying psuedo-based-on-a-true-story Annabelle. The sequel will in fact be an origin story that tells us just how Annabelle became such an bad smasher. !
