Yep.  Google sent me $1707 for the month of December 2007.  It’s for the Adsense Program in the name of one of my affiliated companies… and get this: the cheque’s for a four month old site!

In NLP, ‘chunking up’ refers to moving to more general or abstract pieces of information. While ‘chunking down’ means moving to more specific or detailed information.

To chunk up on a piece of information, use one or more of the following questions:

What is this a part of?
What is the intention?
For what purpose?

Know what holds most people from true success? It’s coz they live a life of Somedays….

Do these musings sound familiar?

“Someday, I’ll be rich…”
“Someday, I’ll find the right one…”
“Someday, I’ll start that business…”

Geez! If you think like that, Someday will never happen. You’ll push ‘it’ so far into the future that you’ll be dead before anything happens.

There’s just one way out. Next time you say “Someday”, replace it with “TODAY. ”

Then magic will really begin.

I and my friends stress out very frequently. At a 10 hour workday, it’s tough to keep on going with that fresh outlook all month. Hence I make it mandatory to cut the routine once a quarter with a spot of travelling. And what better place than Europe!

There’s nothing like dropping the cares and worries and checking into exotic locations such as hotels at amsterdam or cozy dives at greece! You see, travelling to Europe had always been a fancy of mine- being based in bustling tropical asia, I crave the solitude of scenic temples and hotels in Greece. I can stand at the Pathernon all day, snap pictures, sip coffee and just breathe. And with every breath, I revitalize like a bird in flight.

Yesiree… if the travel bug’s trying to bite you- let it. It may be the best remedy to a life which moves so fast… that you no longer have any wonder left for living.

Know what prosperity is? Prosperity is a dream with a deadline.

That’s right. When you dream and do nothing about it- it reamains a dream. But give a deadline to achieve it. Magic begins.

Dreams and deadlines create actionable objectives. Work on them and you claim a reward: prosperity. I don’t mean just monetary affluence. It can be social, mental or spiritual prosperity.

Start dreaming more. And give them deadlines. You’ll have a wonderful life!

Let’s face it: people often judge you by appearance. It’s not ideal of course. We prefer to be evaluated on basis of what’s inside: intellect, wit, accomplishments, charisma. The problem is, before folks can see that, they gravitate to you the basis of your external appearance.

Dressing well, therefore, and projecting a polished image is necessary.

Let two girls bat for a job. Assume both possess the same charm, wit and exemplary resume. Who’d get the job? Obviously the sassier-dressed. It’s all got to do with Cialdini’s Principle of Likability: we find ourselve’s drawn to attractive people projecting a delightful package.

Fortunately, image projection need not be expensive, what with numerous online retailers of fashionable apparel. Like ShopBop. I recently stumbled across this community of fashionistas that offer more than products: they also proffer fashion guides that help you to look your best 24/7.

I’ve been surfing the web for new material I could use in my upcoming dating workshops and noticed something: many gurus espouse highly structured forms of hypnosis to create attraction. The preferred method is via ‘neurolinguistic seduction’, a system that requires the use of trance words, embedded commands and tonal patterns. Is it effective? You bet! The downside is that only advanced conversationalists can use these techniques. Let a newbie try it out and he’ll get laughed out of the bar. And slapped.

I did come across another site that uses more natural and spontaneous forms of attraction to get a girlfriend. The SeductionBible teaches simpler forms of rapport building through fluff talk, criteria elicitation- and yes getting a woman to laugh! Now these are approaches that I believe absolute beginners can use to score while enjoying a nightlife.
